About Masterclass Dance Academy
Our Philosophy
At Masterclass Dance Academy, we believe that dance is for everyone. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where students can learn and grow in a supportive community. We strongly support the continued dance education of our teaching staff to bring new and exciting choreography to our dancers. Our staff continues to train at Broadway Dance and obtain DEA teaching certifications to further enhance our ability to serve our students.
Our Director's History
Elizabeth Rosado has over 30 years of dance experience. Starting in 1980 at the age of 3, she began working on her technique at her local dance studio, and later continued her training at Broadway Dance in New York City. Elizabeth has achieved several personal awards from Dance Educators of America and Showstoppers, as well as numerous achievements in the competition circuit. She has performed in over 7 major cities for special events.
As a dance instructor, Elizabeth has taught at local dance studios. It is here that she has been able to transfer her knowledge of dance to her dedicated students. From recreation classes to the competition circuit, she has experience training students from ages 3 to adults, across all dance styles. Most recently, Elizabeth has transformed the tap and ballet programs into high-scoring, aware-winning teams. While ballet and tap are her specialties, she also has a broad range of experience in jazz, musical theater, and hip-hop.
Now as a studio owner and director, Elizabeth prides herself on personally developing curriculum for all classes. She sets the bar high for her students, ensuring they reach their full potential. She works to maintain a positive dance environment. She believes "dance can be both healing and transforming. Many life lessons can be learned in dance class. We don't only teach students to dance; we show them how to express emotion, and how to challenge themselves to be stronger both physically and emotionally.”
Our Programs
We offer a variety of classes for all ages and levels, including unique needs in ballet, tap, jazz, tap, hip hop, musical theatre, acro, contemporary, and more. Our programs are designed to promote physical fitness, artistic expression, and personal growth. We also offer a summer intensive program with Instructors from all over to expose our dancers to new formats and trends in dance.
